Chess Festival “Chess in Ustroń Connects Generations”
The MOKATE Group is proud to support the 6th International Chess Festival “Chess in Ustroń Connects Generations” – an event that not only promotes chess as a sport of strategic thinking but also brings together intergenerational and educational communities.
The festival will take place from August 1–10, 2025, in Ustroń – a place that has long been the summer chess capital of Poland.
This year’s edition includes:
✔ participation of over 500 players from around the world,
✔ tournaments divided by age and ranking categories,
✔ a prize pool of over PLN 57,000 in cash and more than PLN 50,000 in material prizes,
✔ simultaneous games with grandmasters and Dawid Czerwen,
✔ a Special Guest – Gukesh Dommaraju, the current World Chess Champion (2024).
Over the years, the festival has welcomed some of the biggest names in global chess, such as Garry Kasparov, Viswanathan Anand, Ruslan Ponomariov, and Jan-Krzysztof Duda.
As the MOKATE Group, we are delighted to support initiatives that promote intellectual development, the values of fair play, and intergenerational integration.
During the event, we will provide participants with free coffee and tea from the MOKATE Group, believing that the best games are played over a cup of aromatic beverage.
We encourage you to join us and celebrate the values that unite people – regardless of age or background.
